Policy Dialogue
As Canada's leading organization dedicated to addressing the issue of wrongful convictions, AIDWYC is often invited to express its opinions as to how certain practices within, or proposed amendments to, the criminal justice system may have an impact on wrongful convictions. This type of policy dialogue may be in a formal setting, such as testimony before Parliamentary or Legislative Committees, or may be somewhat less formal, as in meetings with government ministers or other government officials.
