Peter Frumusa

Peter Frumusa was convicted of first-degree murder in 1989. There was no physical evidence to tie him to the crime, and his conviction was based largely on the testimony of a jailhouse informant. The Ontario Court of Appeal ordered a new trial in Mr. Frumusa's case in 1996, and the charges were withdrawn in 1998.
