Education: Overview

ACTIONS TO REMEDY AND PREVENT WRONGFUL CONVICTIONS.
AIDWYC's organizational goals and activities are matters of concern for an array of stakeholders in the criminal justice system, government and the general public. These include Crown and defence lawyers, correctional officers, members of the judiciary, prisoner support groups, elected officials, and academics.

Through both education and engagement on policy issues, AIDWYC staff and volunteers participate in an ongoing dialogue with these stakeholders in order to raise awareness of AIDWYC's work, specifically, and of issues pertaining to wrongful convictions generally.
